Collective Dissent as Legal Consciousness in Contemporary British Theatre

چکیده

This article explores legal consciousness in contemporary British theatre. It is concerned with the messages conveyed about law society as experienced through participant-observation and textual analysis. The interpretation of meaning will take place within framework collective dissent developed by Halliday Morgan. Using this framework, show that a reoccurring theme these performances, legitimacy state under challenge. Alternative visions are pluralistic nature. By applying narrative to study, tests further develops an analytical tool for examining cultural studies. Through it also advances study theatrical performance studies terms what dramaturgic images, observational textual, say relationship between society; specifically, determine theatre says snapshot time place.
